Most of us have heard of the name 'Desperada', those who do respect her generally like her, while those that fear her have a good reason. She never stays in one place for very long and prefers to be alone, this has somewhat changed after she met a stunning young man named Aspean. Though she wasn't always like this, in her younger years, she was just as human as they came. Now she is a multi-elemental hybrid, dangerous and unpredictable beyond all else.
One summers eve, Emiko and her brother Drake where playing down by the creek under the watchful eye of their mother. This day was different from other days, this is the day where two lives would be changed forever. Emiko was helping her mother set the table for lunch while Drake was out back cleaning a chicken, a neighbor stopped by, she had been a very close friend since the father was killed trying to help his beastman friends escape their hunters. Emiko always had a funny felling about this person, no one shared this feeling so she kept to herself about it. She went outside and helped Drake with the chickens, a few moments later and gunshots came from inside the house, more rang out from the trees and strange men came afterward, they were targeting all the adults and took the children while they were kicking and screaming. Drake and Emiko tried to run away but they got caught. They were taken to a truck, forty all together, Emiko and some of the older children were doing there best to tend to the younger ones, Drake was going to protect hes sister even if it meant loosing his own life. Time seemed to drag, the truck made a sudden stop, the sounds of doors opening and closing rattled the truck then the big doors opened, everyone was blinded by the light and the strange men began to pull out the children, Emiko felt a painful pop as the man pulled her out of the truck, they then closed the doors and the truck pulled off, the children were herded into cells, Drake went over to check up on his little sister, and sure enough her shoulder had been dislocated, they both knew that it would have to be fixed or she could loosed it, Drake knew who to fix these things so he set Emiko's arm and used whatever he could to keep it supported. A few hours later a man in white came and started to point out some of the younger children the strange men came in and took them, that would be the last time that they were ever seen again.
