Dragon's Hearth
A world where dragons and humans co-exist, living side by side and helping each other. Most children are brought to dragon breeding grounds when they are six to watch as the eggs hatch. There the baby dragons look over the children around, and if they so choose it they will walk to one and nuzzle them, making the child it's tamer. On rare occasions a dragon will not take a tamer, and the child will have to wait for another hatching.
The four lands are divided and ruled and for now there is peace. The Dwarfs, Fae, and Elves also live in these lands, but are greatly outnumbered by humans though they too are dragon riders. With things lands divides, and certain races dwindling in numbers... can peace really last?
